I visited the cemetery today and called my mom’s cell phone a few times to hear her sweet voice. 12 seconds of love and joy on my ear. “You’ve reached Gena Silveria. I can’t get to the phone right now but if you will please leave a message I’ll get back to you just as soon as I can.” 

My mom has the most perfect resting place for the most sweetest and loving person I’ve truly ever met. I smiled today during our short time together, why?

Because on the far corner of the masoleym there were four little kids playing tag. They were laughing and giggling. They were so sweet and innocent. There laughter was so pure, so gentle, and so warm. 

I smiled because I know how happy that made my mom today to be surrounded around little kids laughing and playing.

It brought so much joy because I know how much she loved children. I love you, mom ❤️

Be aware of the blessings around you. Sometimes the little ones give you the most back. xoxo
